BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – Octane Fitness, LLC, continues its unmatched streak of major accolades and fitness industry leadership in the seventh annual Specialty News® (SNEWS) 2009 Fitness Retailer Survey, where it was recently named the best supplier for the third consecutive year, and the top-selling brand of elliptical cross trainers, a prestigious title the company now has held for five years in a row.

SNEWS, a weekly publication that covers the fitness and outdoor industries, annually surveys specialty fitness retailers nationwide to assess the state of the fitness equipment industry.

Octane was the definitive winner among 19 fitness equipment suppliers listed by survey participants in this incredibly competitive area.

And in the crowded elliptical trainer category, Octane proved unstoppable in its consistent leadership of the past five years, earning the most votes of 27 brands named and more than five percentage points more than the second-place manufacturer.
